Hmmm yes, I am waiting for their "package deal" but they haven't sent me details yet.

I think next week we will look to book our stay.

LadyV

Couldn't wait any longer in case the hotels were fully booked so I booked us in today!! Excited!!

Alex

How much per night, and how much for parking. I find this is the most difficult place to plan, where to park safely, close-by and inexpensive ;D

We are staying at the Hilton as I get money off with my Hilton credit card. It's about â,¬119.00 per night and â,¬17.50 per day for parking.

This is for four nights (I got two nights for â,¬90.00 as I paid with points and money combined and the other two for â,¬238.00).

Some people are staying in the holiday inn but when I looked it was full.

I think the hotels are going quickly- we've chosen to arrive there the day before to enjoy some of Antwerp before Smart Times.

We haven't decided to go to Amsterdam before or after the event just yet (it's an hour and a half drive from Antwerp).

It looks like its cheaper to buy a one way ticket on the EuroTunnel and buy the return separately.

Alex

We're arriving a day early too, but we've decided to stay a night in Brugge, 4 nights in Anwerp and then a couple more in Amsterdam.

We've found slightly cheaper accommodations, but parking is basically the same.

We've done some research and parking in Amsterdam seems so expensive that we might just fly there instead. I have airmiles so a flight will only cost us £27.00 each return.

Unless anyone knows of cheaper parking in Amsterdam? Slightly off topic I know but we planned to see some of Europe whilst travelling to Smart Times  8)

CrazyG

I'm booked in at the Hoiday Inn Express Antwerp North,
which is just under 10mins walk from the venue.

Overnight car parking is â,¬16.50 !
454 - Brabus (mapped, Willwood brakes, KW coilovers etc)
454 - Passion CDi 95hp, manual. - Soon to leave my ownership !
454 - Passion 1.3, manual (full Brab body kit, Brab wheels, lowered etc) - SOLD to 'Problemchild'
451 - Pulse Turbo [daily driver] (coilovers, bodykit etc)

LadyV

Yes our parking is charged at â,¬17.50 a night- I wonder if there is any way that we can leave our cars at the venue rather than pay this hefty price per night? I might ask Al Young...?

CrazyG

Well worth a 'shout' to him ladyV.
in the current tight economic time any way to keep the costs down is a good thing.
The removal/reduction of such costs would possibly tip the scales to someone attending or not.

cosminnedelcu

i registred on internet ticket number 10941 :) so alot of smart cars registred :P
Air is drawn into the cylinder of a diesel engine and compressed by the rising piston at a much higher compression ratio than for a spark-ignition engine, up to 25:1. The air temperature reaches 700-900 C, or 1300-1650 F.

LadyV

I don't have a ticket number...maybe I need to register somewhere else but I thought I did..hmm!!

CrazyG

Yeah, come on Cosmin tell us how or where you registered and got the ticket number
from as I like LadyV thought we had already registered an interest etc on line...hence
why we are getting updates from TheSmartClub.

We want to know why we're possibly being left out....... >:(  ???  :-\
