Hi all,

Just came across this website (some of you may know it) and found they are selling lots of 'optional extra' bits, brand new genuine parts, for realistic money. Some of these parts I have looked for and found on eBay but either not in good condition, or for silly prices.

Other (rarer) parts seem to be in stock only on russian or greek websites, when I look for them. I don't trust it if I can't read it properly.

Fortunately the site below is all in English...

https://www.edsmartparts.nl

For example:
Storage tray luggage net (passenger side) for 16€
Official rear sunshades (that clip into the door frame): 39€
Dash pods 139€

etc. etc. etc.

I would have to disagree with the statement of 'realistic prices' (for the UK at least)

there are certain part that are more than what Smart would charge e.g. window switch @ £14.50 + 4.60 P&P = £19.10. you can get the same switch cheaper if you walked into your local Mercedes dealer.

Always check merc first though as they can normally get all parts within a week :)

You have a point, always check elsewhere and don’t overlook the MB stealership; but I never said they were the cheapest, I still think their prices on certain hard to find accessories are fair and realistic.

That being said they are selling 17” grandlines for around 700€ mark, I know they were being offered here for much less... hope you took advantage of that deal!

Not yet - I plan to email them and check before I order something small (rear window shades and/or keyfob rubber replacement) - when I do I’ll let you all know how the transaction goes.

I bought some simple stuff from them, overall experience was good! in a week I got my item via dhl. Quick processing and good packaging. Definitely will use them again, they are faster than smart-stuff.... But some stuff they got there are a bit overpriced

i think what we have to remember is that none of these places actually stock a huge amount of parts for the forfour

they order from smart and have their own discounts then sell on to you

so as long as you know what is happening you can make a call where your money goes
