Seems a bit expensive...

I think my last 2 services carried out at merc were £170 and £240 (£410)

£19.99 x 24 = £480

But at least you have no huge bills to pay and you know where you are each month

...and I would think other dealers may offer this, so could be worth asking ;)

Good find Baggy :)

It needs further enquiries if anybody shows an interest. If it's done like my new central heating boiler plan a service is done straightaway. Effectively your getting your first service done on tick for a year and then your second and third. That's what might tempt some people to sign up to a plan, but you'll be paying interest on your service payments hence the higher overall costs. I don't know why they restrict it to cars up to seven years old. Mine is over six years old so I wouldn't be eligible anyway even if I fancied participating.
If they brought out a plan that also covered all the parts on the car like a warranty that might be more tempting if fairly priced.

warranty's are available from many companies - 'Warranty Direct' come highly recommended
and for around £250 your car is covered for most things, including wear and tear
(after 90 days)

But as basilbrush says, you don't get anything for free so you will defo be paying interest.

'Warranty Direct' come highly recommended

Personally I wouldn't recommend them at all.

I have yet to press to test them - what were your personal issues??

Its always good to know how not to drop yourself in something they use to not claim ;)
