dad's new forfour

So after 13 years of working on this with my dad, it's going to be back in my ownership thanks to the amazing love of my fellow admin - @crazyG

My dad passed away last year and he'd have loved to have known that his lovely forfour (that we worked on together) would be going to be my sons!

Yeah he's only just 15 but that gives us 2years to get it all looking lovely, learn about servicing and doing the brakes etc

Well it's been a busy few weeks with the car and work

2 weeks ago I drove Bristol to London to meet up with @crazyG to look at getting the forfour prepped for its journey to Bristol

Plan was to unseize the brakes and get it rolled out of the garage that's been it's home for 7yrs

Thankfully G had not left the handbrake on and the garage was dry so it pulled out quite easy



So next plan was to see if we could get the engine turned over.....

1. Syphon off the old fuel
2. Remove the coil packs and the plugs
3. Penetrating oil in the cylinders
4. Turn over with the plugs out 
5. Plugs back in
6. New fuel and some redex
7. Check air filter
8. Send it.....

And the car started on the first turn of the key! Amazing





So the sale was affirmed



Skip forward to last weekend and G turned up with the forfour on a low loader and we rolled her off and into position on the grass outside my house (the fleet is just too big!!)





So this weekend it was wash and wax!!

1. Rinse
2. Snow foam
3. Wash
4. Rinse
5. Ceramic seal
6. Dry and polish







Jacob even had a little drive up and down the drive alone

Great job , that colour combo is really really nice , and it's come up a treat .

Things are looking good. Washed mine too a couple of weekends ago and it does make make it stand out even more.
