Guys so sorry I missed it. I've been living in lah lah land! I thought it was this weekend (as I was away last weekend) I'm gutted I've missed it. Pictures look amazing!

What cracking weather for it as well. I'm sure I'll met some of you guys soon anyhow. Can't wait for the next meet now!

Once I know my plans for August weekends I'll be posting a new thread for a cheeky August meet for anyone that can't go to Antwerp for the big Smart do.

After that I think the general consensus is to do this every 3 months or so. I'd like to do it regular.

Possibly the next one might me a bit more northerly, somewhere like Oxford or Gloucester so not TOO far for the London crowd, but hopefully include a few people further out too.

We should get some suggestions for meets. See where people are coming from and then correlate a middle point to meet. Perhaps we should do a post of possible attendees and their location and work it out from there. 6 peeps lastime, hopefully more next time

Scoobysook...we have a slight problem here in that not everyone
filled out their 'location' when they completed their profiles.....
AND....I have not as yet been successful in finding out how to get that
to show in everyone's avatar that appears in the posts.
I'll keep working on it, but unless everyone will reply to a 'global'
e-mail from me with their location then I'm afraid it will be hard
to do a list of who is where in this fair land of ours !   

There have been many and various attempts to get peops interested
in meets, but until this last one that I organised the reponse has
been limited to say the least, with many proposals falling flat.

I had always hoped that each area/region of the UK might find a
'champion' to set up meets for their own areas, but so far even that
hasn't come to fruition.  But...rather than be on a downer....I am
so pleased this event came thru and that everyone enjoyed it.
Yes I would like to do it again, and I was hoping for September
sometime......however.......
S2smarts are planning one of their 'open days' again...in Spetember,
so maybe that would be the ideal venue and time to have another
meet, albeit not just ForFours.....but we could form our own little
corner group and huddle together...(hehehe).
Keep your eyes out and I'll post up details on that event as and when
I get the word from 'the man in charge and his other half'

No probs G. Perhaps we could start another thread, eg where r u? Here people can post and include there location too, and send an email also as a prompt to post on it. Like funky kinda said- our cdi's can go to wherever we want to host the meet! Keep up the good work chaps

Looks like a great day was had by all  , Sorry I couldn't make it , as for an S2smarts  'open day' , I'd definitely be up for that , I really enjoyed the last one .

I'm quite happy to be the "champion" for our little area if you like - I quite enjoyed our recent gathering. 

As for September.... I'll be away for 2 weeks of it, and working the other two... so fingers crossed I can get to S2 when it's on!  I'll be annoyed if it doesn't work out again, even though I'm going away for a very good reason this time

Looks like you had a blast, wish I could have made it but I was a taxi that weekend as both the LDV and KIA were U.S. Starting motor and a belt idler went. Got to bed at 4am Sunday and was up shortly after  .
