Title: It's goodbye for now
Post by: blackydog on February 27, 2020, 11:34:25 AM
My Forfour is being part ex'd against a VW T-cross. It still looks pretty good for its age after a little TLC. The failed glow plugs are the main reason it's moving on, although having said that it has only let me down one morning when it hadn't run for the previous two days. Engine it still strong and gearbox changes well after I did the change mechanism mod. I have two other old cars and really need something modern in my life now that I'm getting on a bit.
Thanks to all the members on here who have offered advice and I would like to think I have maybe helped one or two others over the past eight years too.
Hope BL55OKB  finds another owner (no reason why it shouldn't really, plenty of MoT left and drives pretty well).
Blackydog signing off, best of luck with your Forfours for the future.   ;)

highly doubt that if it has found a new home that the new owner will be as enthusiastic as we are. they will see it as a 'cheap run around' and wont take the care it needs.
