Might make that... if it was the same weekend as Beaulieu is, I would have simply booked a hotel for the weekend but they are a week apart... will know nearer the time.

Yep, I am coming... though possibly not in the ForFour. I want to try and get another member of the family into these meets so may be coming in his ForTwo.

Sorry guys..I usually make it to this both times in the year,
but this time I'll have to pass on this one as I'll be taking care of
my daughter and keeping an eye on my grandson next week.
(Daughter had gall bladder removed and is signed off fa 4 weeks !)

This meet is already posted in the 'Ace Café London (bi-Annual)' thread
in the 'Smart Meets' section...so no point duplicating it, so I'm locking
this topic to any further posts.

A nice day all around - cold as heck though so thankful I found a hat in the car. Great to see cecil and warbird01uk there, only the 2 454's there.

The photos I took of the day (http://wirralsmarts.co.uk/events.php?event=ace_cafe_november_2016).

I think the cold weather put a lot of people off.

TBH it's a shame this the bi-annual event is not 'positioned' at
slightly 'warmer' times of year.  The one in April is usually wet...
and the Nov one can be cold, wet, dull, and/or miserable.
But having said that, I have to admit that I have attended these
where the weather has been good and the car park has been
jam packed with Smart's.  The foibles of the English climate, eh.
