Start time - 11:00am End time - 4:00pm
Parking can be tight...as the meet is shared with ForTwo's and Roadsters. If you don't intend staying till near the end, then make sure you tell the 'marshalls' so that they can park you where you can get out easily or without too much hassle.
It's also the same 'recipe' as previous Smart meets at the Café.... DO NOT bring your own food or drinks... that is part of the agreement with the management to use this venue....besides... the food they have available is 'to die for'....and ALL the food and drinks are very reasonably priced ! (Seriously..just try the Chilli 'n' cheese on chips to see what I mean) They also do real minced steak beef burgers and normal steaks etc etc. There's no horse meat here, the biker boys would string the owners up if they tried ! ! It's all real good tasty food, with prices that make it hard to choose which meal or dish it is going to be that you will eventually get ya teeth into or gums round !
Please don't expect a massive venue, ok. It's small but friendly, just like a meet at your 'local' pub, but the food and the nostalgia make up for anything lacking. Just check the weather forecast before you make the run down to this event. Unless it's a calm, clear, dry and not too cold a day then it'll be ok. Otherwise, avoid it like the plague.

GPS Coordinates 51°32'N 0°16'W 51.541389, -0.277778 Ace Corner is the junction of Beresford Avenue and the old North Circular Road, between the A40 and the A404 (Harrow Road).
By Road Travelling anti-clockwise on the North Circular Road: Take the second exit - signposted for Park Royal - after the traffic lights at Brentfields Road (where you'll see Ikea and McDonalds). Turn right, then right again onto the old North Circular Road. The Ace is 100 yards on the left.
Travelling clockwise on the North Circular Road: Take the first exit after the Hanger Lane/A40 interchange - it's signposted for Park Royal. At the traffic lights at the top of the off ramp, turn left and then immediately right onto the old North Circular Road. The Ace is approximately 100 yards up on the left.

well - i am in essex as its the wifes bday BUT its just me and my dad for most of the way as the girlies are off getting pampered for most of the day.
will have to see how the day pans out!!

I didn' t see Kate turn up at all...... And 9582djk arrived shortly after you and cowboy left JJ. A nice shiny black Brab on Monoblock A's.. 8)
The Ace meet is always enthusiastically supported by owners of Smart ForTwo's and Smart Roadster's, so no one can truthfully say that it is because this event is held on a Saturday that that is the reason for the poor turnout of ForFours. So just what is the problem or issue here ?
No wonder the followers of the ForTwo and Roadster don't consider the ForFour to be a real Smart when one see's the abysmal representation shown by ForFours at Smarts meets.
I just hope we can change all that by the time the next Smart meet comes along......

Excuse my little 'rant'...no offense intended.... I just get so many mixed feelings when I go to Smart meets and see so many ForTwo's and Roadsters but very few ForFours :'(
Yes I am aware that there were a lot more of those 'others' built than of our 'little gems', but on a pro-rata basis our turnout should be more than we actually get. And yet we are asked when are we going to have a meet or where are there any Smart meets ! The one off Sunday meets at Hemel and Reading drew 6/7 of us, which is a better turnout. Was that down to the clearer roads and it being a Sunday that made it ok/better, or what ? Or is it that we prefer just the company or 'our own' ?
I'd like to have another Sunday morning breakfast meet in the London area (or somehere) sometime before May. Anyone up for that ?

If you add the number of 450, 451 and 452 then the 454 probably had an attendance of a higher percentage of total cars produced than the others ;)
Factor in the forfour being a more family based car who don't do forums or meets so we do pretty well actually ;)

I prefer to go to Forfour only meets, especially when most fortwo owners first question is 'is that really a smart car?' At least until the mk II 454 is releases

Yeah I agree...I had 2 couples come up and chat to me about ForFours when I was in the car park at the Ace Café. Both had Roadsters and were looking for something bigger and easier to get in/out of as "we are no longer youngsters" as they put it. Genuinely interested...so maybe we might have some newbies along.
