It's very kind of you to offer jmariog, but if I were to drive your car it would be with respect for your vehicle, and by extension, you: rather than hoon it down the road for some kids to gawp at on YouTube

I agree 100% with you on that.
It wouldn't matter if they had or arranged insurance to cover the car,
I'd still not let anyone 'hoon' it just so they can post up their little
'drag race' or 'traffic light grand prix' in a car that's not their own
property.  The outlook of today is that it's not mine, you've let me
use it, and if it gets fooked or damaged in any way the insurance
will cover it.
And if that did happen I would more or less 100% guarantee that
any insurance company would say it was being 'street raced' and
therefore not covered.
As for the 'hoon' behind the wheel, "It's not mine, why should care".

If they really want to drive one (and hoon it), buy one, they can be
bought cheap enough (unfortunately), then sell it afterwards.

Clarkson made a living out of it

Have told him he can drive mine! He didn't appear take any liberties with the Colt (or any other car he shows on his channel) and was very cognisant that it belonged to a person NOT a dealer/manufacturer.

I've had one of my cars (Mercedes AMG C43) road tested by a journalist before and it was very VERY well treated.

Not at all as you see Clarkson and cronies thrashing round a track!

Tinyflier, was it the new C43 or the old one? I just sold my W202 C43 last month! I've had two now - great cars apart from the rust...

It was the older version - a stunningly competent car for the time .

My sister had the E55AMG: that was pretty nifty for a larger car.
