As a replacement for the Crossblade I think it is ok....but you can bet it won't be exactly as portrayed.
Why ? Because to pass crash testing, the fairings behind the seats are not high enough to stop an
occupants head from hitting the road if the car ever got inverted in an accident.

To visuallise what I mean, draw an imaginary line between the front where the screen
(or lack of it ) starts, to the top of the fairings, and you will see that the line would
neatly slice thru the top of anyones head inside the car !
So, it'll either need extra taller roll bars/hoops that come up above the fairings, OR.......
like the latest Merc open sports, a section/panel that shoots up/out if the car ever gets inverted.

Oh, and don't you just love the designers 'waffle'.....(what the salesmen will use to sell it....)

Fullness of the exterior surfaces ? ? What utter drivel.....
Why not just say it the way it is....the "lumps and bulges"  ?

Air is drawn into the cylinder of a diesel engine and compressed by the rising piston at a much higher compression ratio than for a spark-ignition engine, up to 25:1. The air temperature reaches 700-900 C, or 1300-1650 F.

Apparently its just a concept now and won't actually be released, but they say that the look of the Smart ForSpeed will be more evident in future smart models.
