Stiffening door handles

After all this crap weather, salt, grit and muck, all 4 of my door handles were becoming a little stiff.....

So I grabbed my crappy can of bike chain lube (it's like WD40) and my flat screw driver and went round the car prizing off the little end plates and giving a good squirt inside all over the lock mechanisms and cables !

Took about 10mins and now they are all back to their easy opening selves.

I will probably go round again and do them with some better lube when the weather is better !

I recommend this activity to all owners

I have to lube up Alice at some point. Gets a tidge embaressing when you're struggling to open an unlocked car. lol

Previous owner got Dave all lubed up before we collected. Door handles were sticking when we checked.  :o

.....anyone got a forfour called holly willobooby by any chance??
