North West November meet

Been thinking about putting a Saturday or Sunday meet on in November.
Thinking about Standish just off the M6, where there is a Premier Inn with pub.

It's easy to get at/to for any owners in the vicinity of....
Manchester/Liverpool/Southport/Preston/Blackburn/Burnley/Rochdale including
Huddersfield/Stockport/Macclesfield/Northwich/Runcorn/Chester and Ellesmere Port.

Let me now what you think, ok ?

G is from the south - anything above Watford and it all gets v confusing for him.

Apologies I'll get him to change it and shorten his leash and get the rolled up newspaper again ;)

Anything above the M4 corridor is north! M4 is midlands....

Apologies for the slight geographical error.
However, I modified the original post with the best intentions, to save
members looking up to see where Standish was, and then wastefully
posting that it was too far away.
By trying to be more 'specific' and also quoting the area/s around
the proposed event I though that it would elicit more response from
anyone who might possibly want to partake in the aforesaid meet.
It was also to save unnecessary posts from members saying that
it was too far away for them to attend.

Standish is the 1st junction going north on the M6 after the M58 jct

It's not easy running the forum and keeping it tight and compact and working well.

G did it with the best intentions and for the best of the site and for the benefit of the OP to improve the quality of response.

He could have just ignored it but that's not for the good of the site ;)

There wasn't really a need to "report" the post tbh - you could have edited the title yourself to correct it rather than get us admin to assess the report and then rework the post ;)

My location - states 'The North' and has had a little gremlin been in and had a play with my profile? I think?
Anyways- I always though that when the southern people pass waford they get noses bleeds as this is The North!! Haha.
The North for me is newcastle/scotland.. :P
My location is sunny southport - so this meet is ideal for me 8)
