Just had a look at the video again- I would be surprised if you weren't aquaplaning at/near the end. 'Mildly moist' doesn't describe the conditions!

You can actually hear the engine over-revving before the final up-shift when the wheels loose traction in standing water. :-\

Congratulations on the outstanding result, it made me giggle seeing the forfour own the race.
