All forfours are chain... except the Brabus.

all but the brabus require there valve clearances checking every 50-60,000 miles aswell

mr singh meant that all non Brab ForFour's require the
valve clearances to be checked adjusted (if necessary) every
50-60,000 miles. 
Anyone with a Brab knows the clearances on them are adjusted by
using different thickness shims inside the inverted buckets that sit
on the top of the valve stems.
