Hi - welcome.

Unfortunately you will only be aiming for about £4-5k max.

The issue is that people just don't know about these cars so the demand just isn't there.

You have a number of options really.....

Sell up and buy a euro box style fiesta dull machine

Keep and just put up with the crashiness

Upgrade the suspension

Buy a set of 16" wheels with a larger profile tyre

It all depends on how much you love the car and how much you really want to keep it.

I would suggest the wheel/tyre combo

I second this after changing my wheels/tyres. An amazing difference to the car and my dad (now 70) finds the car nicer to ride in. I also don't feel as if I'm falling in to valleys of potholes. Although, I did change from 14" to 17", 165 to 205 (if I remember correctly).

I agree 100%...

See the very recent posting somewhere from lil.smartie...she has a set of 16" Colt wheels
that are absolutely perfect. (OTV has a set on his Brab).  Fit, then start to smile again.

16" 205/45R16 wheels will make the ride much more pleasant, because all tires in 17" sizes for our car (205/40 and 225/35) are Reinforced, XL (extra load), runflat, or another sort of devilish hard sidewalls that have absolutely no flex.

So just buy some 16" wheels and make sure you do not pay extra for Runflat tires, keep no more than 2.2 bar in them and you will glide along roads that now seem very harsh.

If you decide to turn your brab in a 100% comfortable cruiser, then downgrade to standard suspension, it's softer, and has more travel.

Whatever you do, don't sell. But if you do, trade it on here for a normal forfour, I'm sure you'll find somebody willing to trade up.
