Title: Track day Snetterton 15th July
Post by: Fast Eddy on June 30, 2015, 08:45:52 AM
Hi guys, we have a trackday with a difference on 15th July.
A few of you expressed an interest previously.  It is our annual Dealer Day with MSV.

We get the scrutineering bays for cars, spares, tools etc and the Archie Scott Brown Centre incorporating lounge, kitchen, toilets where I put on snack and drinks.  We have our own dedicated marshall directing us out of our private pit lane exit.  It is a special day!

Price is discounted too for me due to my relationship with them so currently at just £159 early bird price and we get 10% off that making it extremely cheap and amazing value with the extras.
I can offer tuition to anyone who needs it at very reasonable rates.
It can be booked here

If you need to discuss you can get me on 07887790542

Following on from that I have a 400+ car show in the evening at Snetterton called Snetterton Summer Wednesdays with track time also in the evening available as a separate session for £69 although those on track in the day are not advised to drive the evening as well (too much)

Accomodation is available locally if you wanted to stay over before or after the day

Cheers
Eddy

How does this work? Is it a case of you can bring your own car or are vehicles supplied?
If it's the first, so disappointed mine isn't tuned yet.

Thanks for posting Eddy. I can't make this yet but would like to do one of your track days in future.

Usually on a track day, you use your own car.  There are companies that hire cars, but it is very expensive and massive insurance excesses obviously

Was probably a silly question I know so thanks for the reply :)
My work mate went to one a few weeks ago but it was a ferarri's keys that were thrown at him.

Absolutely gutted mine's not in a fit state to go or I'd be there like a shot! Hopefully there's more of these when (eventually) it's running properly.

For those who do go, have a great day and I'll be "well jell!"

Sounds like your mate probably had a driving experience rather than a trackday mate

Not too bad thanks Graham
The new set of track pads started breaking up by lunchtime with the new discs warping soon after that and the tyres melted.  Apart from that all was fine lol.
For info, my Wilwood big brake kit has not arrived yet and the set of wheels I bought to put track tyres on were no good and the tyres I wanted were out of stock so I had to use the car in a spec lower than I wanted.
Still managed to get past some quick stuff though and have some fun

Ok folks, here is the youtube vid of my mate in his RS4 V8 having a play with me.   I let him catch up and go past me then I keep with him most of the time.  I come into view a four minutes in so you can skip to there or listen to the music of the lovelly Audi
Enjoy

Bear in mind my brakes and tyres are shagged at this point
