Title: Headlight bulbs
Post by: jmariog on October 23, 2019, 07:37:21 AM
Just done 700 miles night drive to France, as I had to set the lights up for driving on the right, and as last year I did the same trip, I put in some Ring 'x150' light bulbs, £28 for 2 much better than standard so happy but last 100 miles heavy rain. Would recommend them .

im not a fan of ring bulbs personally. reason being that they are cheaply made and done last very long, we used to use them when I was at the Jag dealer in York and that's what all the lads used to say.

I would have paid slightly more and fitted Osram bulbs. ly local motor factor sells them for £25 for the pair

I agree that ring are not the best make, looked them up on internet which put them around fourth on list of quality. Best appears to be Philips x150 ,but as always I got them and fittered them the morning I left. How you getting on with your forfour Mr Singh.

I don't have halogen bulbs fitted on my forfour… or the Grand Cmax for that matter.
I have HID conversions in my forfour and factory fit HIDs on the Cmax
