I don't have a Brab but try slowing to 60mph.
You'd be surprised. I get more mpg at 60mph in my 1.1 than I do at 70mph

I've never found the trip computer to be accurate even slightly :(

I am currently on tank 3 of general slow driving to try and get my mpg up and to utilise my smart official mpg app........ ALL of my driving is town driving though and up until now I would normally only get 220miles from a tank and I am getting up on the other side of 250miles easy now

Ours doesn't look to bad actually - The mpg since reset was reading 39.7 and after filling up, doing some calculations etc, I reckon we actually managed around 41mpg over around 300 miles.

We reset it when we filled up at Horsham.  Drove to Milton Keynes and were there for a couple of days.  Pottered around a bit and then drove back.  The majority of the drive was at about 70mph on the motorway, although the M25 did involve some stopping and starting as it always does and I also gave the throttle a blip now and again just because I was bored!!  ;D.  Air con was on all day every day.

Filled up again when we got back to Horsham and that's when I calculated the actual MPG.  Pretty pleased really!!  :)
