I haven't got a clue where it goes, what it is from or what it does! Can anyone tell me?
Thanks

Ermmm...how large is it..... say in realtionship to a 1p piece ?
The ball like centre thing...anything on the reverse ?
My first thoughts were that it looks like one of the Smart shirt press studs.

Smartware so an accessory of some kind - is it magnetic??

It is about 3.5cm across, the call bearing just seems to clip into it and it is not magnetic.
You can see in the third picture that there are two holes through the outer 'hoop' as if it fits onto something and then the ball bearing locks it in place somehow.

Ah! So mine is not quite so useful without the key loop bit then. :(
At least I know what it is now, it was driving me nuts!!!
Thanks for the responses

Maybe you can bend a bit of stiff wire and make your own
clip....and then make use of it ? Shame to waste it in a way....

My car arrived with the same thing, also without the wire. I probably have it somewhere in one of many boxes of "things that might be useful one day".
