It would appear that there are none in print, however, when Googled, a site comes up giving the option of memory stick, download or cd. Has anyone got one of these and if so, what sort of experience did you have.

You can find pdf manuals for the Mitsubishi Colt which shares the same engine and I have posted a link to this a number of times (on my mobile right now so searching is tedious but I’ll post a link if I remember later, or just look at my posts).

All but the diesel and Brabus versions of forfour 454 have engines which are virtually identical to Mitsubishi Colts from the same lineage (1.1,1.3, 1.5 etc manufactured by Mitsubishi, diesel is merc, Brabus is heavily modified) so unless you have one of the exceptions, you should find the workshop manuals I previously linked to, useful.

No matter how hard I looked, I never found one specifically for the 454.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately (?) I've got a brabus, however the body work etc should be the same?

Mercedes never ever gave permission for anyone; such as Haynes;
to release a hard copy of a workshop manual for the 454.  By doing so
they thought that it would guarantee no 'unauthorised' garages could
work on the cars...and they could ensure that they got all the money
for doing any work !

As your last post was about bodywork....the Colt is all metal,
whereas bodywork (panels) on a Smart 454 are made of GRP....
(excuding the tailgate). So, you cannot use any info from any Colt
manual to assist you with the 454 on that score. However....if you
look in the Childboards under almost all sections on the Forum;
in this case the Exterior section, you will find Guides usually with photo's
that have been written/made up by myself, Problemchild, and other
'helpful' members of the Forum that you can use to assist you if you wish
to remove/refit etc any of the more 'common' body panels.
