But he isn't saying air is coming in. Just sounds like it.

As you say - scuttle looks normal to me. No bits missing now I've had a proper look.

The windscreen actually serves as structure for the car. It isn't just a piece of glass glued in a hole. The pressure on them is immense. If it is not put in correctly, it will break. I found this out the hard way - twice.

I would suggest looking at your door seals or air vent inlets. It might be something that you simply haven't picked up on before.

From that angle it is all one piece, phew! Looked like there was an exra piece in 1st piccy

This is what mine looks like from that angle.
There's definitely something missing. Im looking at old pics of the car and I can see something missing.
Oh no theres not my bad. It is one piece. Funny how the eyes can play tricks on you.  :-[

Maybe your scuttle panel just isn't sat right.

I checked mine yesterday, all is fine apart from the edges are raised away from the glass due to a load of crap being stuck under it, needs a good scraping out then should be fine
