Bump! A few days to go.

Work commitments mean that I will not be able to attend. Have a great time I am disappointed to miss this.

Weather for the day suggests it will be cloudy but 13C (according to the Met Office). Looks promising at least.

In no particular order they were...
Ocracoke, Brabs, woody-r, and mr singh....and one non-member...
Oh....nearly forgot..there were 2 Gen2.ForFours.
1 was a 'loan' car, the other was an Edition 1. Don't know who's though.

And in case you're wondering where mine was....I was in my 451  :o

Amazing that Brabs could make it all the way from Devon,
and also mr singh, all the way from Leeds !

Shame on those who live closer than that and didn't make it, you
all missed a loverly sunny day at a great venue. As usual the fayre
on offer at 'The Ace' was up to the usual standard....mmm mmmm.

Sorry I could'nt  make it guys .... I really was hoping to be there but even though the weather was pretty good I was feeling " under the weather " ,

Well done to all those who made it .... especiallly Brabs
and mr singh , hopefully I will get to Ace Cafe one of these days .

Excellent day out - the weather was threatening all the way down the motorway but shone quite brightly by the time I got there. Hope to see you all fairly soon I hope ;)

it was a bit of a trip for me... M1 was shut for 2 junctions just outside of Leeds, so along the M62 to the A1... accident on the A1 near Fen Lane so turned on to and hit a great big socking pot hole... buckled wheel so space saver on and 50 all the way down >:( and then having spent £55 to get the wheel straightened and tire refit and balanced once down there.

i was 74 miles from Leeds when it happened before that i was making very good progress, managed 70 miles in 1 hour

managed 53.3 MPG on the way back and just short of 50 MPG on the way down... overall average was 48.7 MPG... total distance done 388.6 miles... range left in tank 125 miles... thats 513 miles i could have done on 1 tank

iv reported that ditch i hit on fill that hole all thanks to brabs.

nice angle you got that picture 'G', you dont see the jack thats under the l/f corner of my car...
