Title: water in foot wells out of the blue

Hello suddenly out of the blue i got into my car to find 100 mils of water in the left front and rear foot area. Can someone help me please as t5o why water suddenly appeared.

It can come from the roof. You will see then that you have rust between roof and body, so the sealant is broke.

Go to a washbox and put pressured water on the car, then you can see what is wrong. If it whas from door sealant you have waterdrops on window, but if it is from roof you have to remove a pillar inside.

If the sealant between glass roof and top inner edge of the body has failed, you can run a bead of new sealant along the channel. I had a similar issue a couple of years ago and ran a small bead of Tiger Seal along the affected area and problem was solved.

if the windscreen bonding has failed, you will be able to push the windscreen up and see it flex.

best thing to do is to remove the windscreen, clean the area (and remove any corrosion) and reseal and refit
