There is already a thread re 1.1 fuel consumption in this section...
(I searched using the 'Search' facility at the top right, and 'mpg')  ;)

G'day Mehr, and welcome to the forum,
I have a 1.5 litre forfour and get on average over 19km per litre and am very happy with the performance with the Smart cars, they are reliable and cheap to run.
Greetings,
Eddie.

my 1.1 would average over 40MPG regardless of how i drove it. i would regularly get about 420 miles to a tank... i did manage close to 5/600 miles but that was all motorway at 60.

I have a 1.3 coolstyle  90 S-A.
DUE to the faulty fuel gauge issue I have been keeping it topped up . My last top up 261. Miles for 26.8 liters or 5.90 gallons giving me just over 44mpg. Very pleased with that 50% town and 50% motorway at an average of 80mph and about 3500 revs.  Its a uk 2006  Rhd.
