Additions.....
Recommendations should be based not solely on the skill and workmanship,
but also on the approachability, understanding, helpfullness, friendliness,
facilities (if any), and the price.  Kind of a 'Tall Order', eh ?

Ideally, whosoever you recommend should be recognised by MB/Smart
and Authorised by MB/Smart as being able to carry out any work to their
same standards, and therefore have the approval to stamp your Service Book.
A definite MUST is that they should have an MB 'Star' diagnostics computer, and
be proficient in the use of it, as without the Star they will not be capable to check
everything when there is any electronic problem.
They should only use genuine MB/Smart parts in any servicing and repairs.

DO NOT add any comments/replies to members posts.
The Admin Team will add or update any existing names on the list depending on
members experiences with the company/companies.
Note:- The list is for recommendations only, not for negative feedback.

of members of the Forum.
Members must resolve issues directly with any company they have had dealings with.

Just had my second service done today at S2 Smart Watford, who were brilliant (again!) even after I turned up horribly later than planned due to some horrendous congestion getting off the M25!

Anyway, just wanted to echo others in saying that they're great. I've owned my forFour since 2004 and foolishly entrusted it to mercedes dealerships for most of its life, and sat and grimaced as it just got worse and worse to drive. S2 were not only a lot cheaper, they completely overhauled my driving experience and the car feels literally as good as it did when I drove it off the lot! So, yeah -  highly recommended if you live in that corner of the world!

Brabs:
Two recommendations, both from my experience.

COVERDALE 2 in Newton Abbot Devon. Very experienced and knowledgeable in MB and smart. Approachable and reasonable labour rates.

4 Smart and Merc in Teignmouth Devon receive a similar recommendation. Gavin is ex MB and is approachable and knowledgeable. Labour rates are reasonable too.
