Title: Interest in a Smart meet at Donnington Park Circuit

Hello everyone, having not long been a ForFour owner and already loving the experience. I have seen quite a few ForFours in and around where we live in Lichfield, Staffs. Question is, would any members be interested in having a Smart ForFour meet at Donnington Park Race Circuit sometime this year (preferably in the summer). I suggest Donnington Park as there is a great race program + there is a fab museum + cafe :P and it is fairly central, which could attract members from north and south. If the 'happy to attend' list gets long, then i would be willing to ask Donnington if they would put on a track day or something similar for us (they do for the Ford and Ferrari owners). I will be at the Ace Cafe meet next month so perhaps we could discuss it further then. All the best kimi  :).

you could put me and the missus on the list as and when... there is however a but, and a very big but. carnt really do any time in august

Hi There, Thanks Mr Singh, your number 1 on the list :). I was hoping for May to July or possible in Sept anyway as most will have holidays in August, but see how the weather goes, although you cant promise anything these days!

You should put a poll on this thread, although from experience maybe 3 people will respond...

Count me as interested, especially if there's a possibility of a track day - always wanted to do one of them.

I could be interested.......no real preference as to when it'd be. Would just have to see once it's arranged.

It seems the interest is building up nicely :) so after having a chat with all at the Ace Cafe meet 8) then i will sort out the most popular month from the poll and ask the people Donnington Park if they can accommodate us ;D

main reason for me is time and distance!
i live in leeds and have to get up at stupid o'clock to get to london and then i have to get back. ill try and be at smart fest at brooklands but that about it for me with london meets

I'd love to go but I can't promise anything as things are turbulent here at the moment and summer time is going to be worse so I can't say from one month to another, sorry.

Hi G, thanks for pointing it out, the post has had over 150 reads now and if just 10% voted it would give a bit of encouragement. I have seen quite a few ForFours about locally and even 4 Brabs! I'm sure a meeting at Donnington will be a good day out for all of us who have our Forfours as a common interest  :).

Why not 'run off' a few copies of the ForFour.co.uk  flyer....and cut them up into
the 6 individual flyers and slap em on those cars...if n when you see them parked up
of course.  Might even be worthwhile putting a note on the back of each one asking
them look up the 'Meets' section and the Donnington proposal ?

Monsters of Rock, yes they were good times 8). I guess that most would prefer to confirm a bit nearer to the date. I will ask the Donnington people when they have dates available and then check with the poll for the most popular months, lets hope Donnington is not fully booked till Dec eh? ;D
