I tend to agree with airSnake.......add/enhance the car by adding silver in places as he suggests,
or add some yellow as has also been suggested...handles, instrument trim rings, floor console,
speaker rings...etc...

As to going all black..  ??? ..there's an all black high mileage Brab on autotrader and TBH it looks
bland and boring !

The glue's only to try and get the threaded part stuck back on so it still work with the nuts. Looks like a bit of a flat plate where it joins the spoiler so "should" be a good contact with a bit of a clean. Got some amalgamating tape lying around (from some double glazing installing) that'll be placed on before it gets bolted back to ensure that it's rattle free and easy to get off again.
Don't know how far to go with the orange (prefer that to silver / chrome). Spoiler first, see how it looks (mainly if I'm capable of getting a good finish) and take it from there.
Nothing looks worse than someone who's modded their car with naff materials in a half a*sd way. Those chavs with bean tin exhausts and peeling viper stripes......

It's all a matter of taste. The DS3 is a very nice car and sharp looking car. But my opinion is that your Brabus doesn't need the tinge of a Citroën. But hey, it's all a matter of taste. If you like it, go for it.

Have you taken the rear boot top section off to see what the issues are?

The 3 bolts are only really to pull that piece flush onto the pop fixings.

Even just the middle one should keep it in place with the pop fixings working.

Now that's more like it.

Very good job there. Not too much in your face and unique to you. The way it should be done.

Or the track widened using 20mm spacers.

Try FK for them...cheapest around that I've found... £32.56 a pair
http://www.carparts-tuning.co.uk/Wheel-Spacers/Wheel-Spacers/Spacers-20-mm-System-A-fit-for-Mitsubishi-Colt-Z30-Z3B.html

You would need longer studs...(between £6 - £8 for 8...so you would need 2 sets)...

Front or rear?

A Wider stance would look better but Im kind of growing out that phase these days

Function over form! ;-)

I you did decide to fit spacers, then you would need to do both front and rear
thereby requiring 2x sets of 2 spacers.
But yes, I do agree....if it works as it is why change it......'function over form'.

Because you have gone for aftermarket wheels you have already narrowed the rear track (and possibly widened the front - not sure of the alloys and the offsets)

You need to bring the rears out a tad to match the stance it had before as OEM.

I had the same issue when I fitted the wider wheels to the front - the rears then looked silly as the rear track was now narrower.

You only need to come out 10mm each side really but you still need a lot of work to do that. The c.25mm ones that bolt on and the the wheels bolt to them are the best option tbh

(P.s. Your pic has gone)

Yeah, the rear wheel arches come out quite a bit on the forfour and a wider stanced wheel would look better from certain angles
But don't really care for that 1 cm difference at the back and there are benefits to wheels that don't stick out that much (less drag, less stress on the ball joints etc)

Having experienced the after market wheel route (primarily as a winter set/pot hole protection), Im still looking for another 16" wheel set with less offset and lower weight, preferably TD pro races .
