Yeah...that picture was from Autotrader....I know cos I kept on looking at it...but it was priced
a bit OTT when I was last looking......back between Jan-June...

So JJ....ya Dad wants a new lower grill to replace the one with holes cut into it that it had for
the towbracket thingy...   There are 2 part numbers listed for that....
A454 888 0060    + A454 888 0123       Don't ask my why there are 2 listed under the 1.3

Oh, and it doesn't have a 'splitter' bar. (The Brab has one that 'splits' that grill horrizontally)

Personally I'd change that upper main nose grill for a black FK replica Brabus jobbie..
It's only about £40...and would look cool.
Front has to come off to fit the lower grill...so why not take advantage of that and add/change
the horn at the same time JJ.  ;D

And as mr singh says...the bottle holder is a bit 'lopsided'...looks as though the bolt that
holds the 'back' end is mising as it should sit level/horizontal.

It's been used by the director of the car company and as a run around at Chelsea football club.

It was originally on at £6k I think and then we saw it at £4k and dad got it for just over £3.5k

It's only done 4000miles since 2010 and has obviously been stood for a while too. Hopefully between my dad and me, we can restore it to its original glory. May need a touch up pen for the blue - anyone??

Not gonna go for the black fk grill as the current one matches the trid and the wing mirrors.

Gonna have a look at the air filter and if it needs a change then smartmods will be getting some business.

Primer then top coat an FK Brab replica then..so that it does match....face it..it won't cost much
and it would look so much better/meaner for it..and it would match in with the rest of the Brab
gear it's got 'hanging off' it.

But do change the horn on it..or add a lower tone one to match. There's a diametrically opposed
mounting on the other side of the radiator mount ready to take one. Just needs 2 little wires
run round to a new low tone horn.
Go on....  ;)

Been playing and fixing and fettling today.....

Although its v slow (hahaha) it's an awesome drive and with the BRAB wheels and lowering springs (sw exclusive I believe) it handles very well :)

Some general pics first...

Anyway, didn't manage to change the front lower grill as it hadn't arrived.

But did do lounge concept

Rear brake light bulb needed replacing so upgraded to led

Changed the air filter to the pipercross one

There are 2 issues I need to sort....

1. The drivers door handle has been ripped off and the clips are broken that hold it in place.

2. The frame around the rad is damaged (possibly due to the fitting of the tow frame) and this has pushed the rad closer to the engine and a star bolt has pierced one of the pipes so there is a small leak of coolant...

And obviously there is the key to sort out...

Driver door handle where ? Inside/outside ?  If it's an outside then order a new one from Smart.
(Rob had to for his)....so they're still available.
And the sooner that lower grill arrives and you can take the front off and remove that tow frame
the better.  And order a new pipe for the leaking one as well.

Still think it's a great colour combo mate..... 8)

Bru - i was fiddling and cycled through the options with the steering wheel controls. think it was the one with range, coolant temp etc....... obviously an output from the nav unit.
