nice steady trip to s2smarts the other weekend (and then some kaning around town) returned a nice 32.6 mpg.

better than my normal :)

I can see 40mpg being achievable in the BRAB on runs (without a broken manifold....ahem)

Perhaps my manifold is alright - I regularly return at least 30mpg with no effort.

I'm getting 28.5 when i go up to Rob's place....
M25 from Jct14....and 70-80mph to Jct17 or 18 and then 30mph the rest of the way.
I got over 34mpg when I drove the car home from Bristol via Southampton at 60-65mph...
with the exception of a quick blast from one junction on the em-fwee to the next when
wound it up to over 3500 rpm ! Mmmmm ma ma made me feel so much better and
broke the boredom of the drive nicely.

Mine lies too and actually I get about 3-4 better than the computer says. I average about 30-35 miles per "bar" of fuel on a typical tank.

I also track my mpg in excel with every fill up. Have dove since I had trouble with my primera (getting 20mpg and 30 on runs...) and just do it now out of habit.

I keep a record of the fuel I put in, but dont actually get round to putting it into the spread sheet very often.  All the data is there, should I want to.

I will check a month or two after the new manifold to see what difference it was making

Rob picked me up on his way back from Dover to S2 at about 3pm....
and I collected my CDi then. Have all the Smarties at home now.
Tony is going to have my Brab on the rollers sometime soon..before
yours n BD's....just finding/deciding on a convenient day for both of us.

Ah shame I was there about 20 mins before you!!

I spoke to Tony and he doesn't think it's worth doing mine on the rollers yet, as the results are too consistent to be coincidence and need to be investigated - possibly a result of having to disconnect the ABS controller to run the cars...

I'll probably pop down to see Dunc when he's there, just for a fun day out :P

45 mpg today on fill up, so that was some slightly heavy right foot stuff still as playing around the back roads, but loving the car!

yeah - the app is ok......

nowt special but it does the job!!

you put in mileage and number of ltrs and total cost and it tells you MPG (does take 3 fill ups to start giving you a figure though)
