Yep, have to agree that 95 Ron is perfectly ok to use and should not cause any problems apart from reduced performance. The ECU will compensate for the lower Ron.

Sorry about no pics atm. Don't usually get home til late on.
By the time I've spent time with my kids, read the bedtime stories, watered the lawn (newly levelled, seeded and sprouting!) it's close to 8ish and getting too dark.
Think I've got time at the weekend between birthday parties x 2 and a trip to Kielder. Actually, that place could provide a nice back drop.....

Re. the rear bench issue, it's sorted. Got some pipe lagging squashed under on either side. Still slides easily but no more rattling!

But if you want all the performance you need 98 RON fuel.

There's a side note in the manual that states the Smart forfour BRABUS will be able to run on 95 ron fuel but power is reduced from 177bhp to 164bhp. The engine is designed for use with Super Plus Unleaded Petrol (98 RON).
So it can be operated with normal premium-grade (95 RON) with reduced performance.

She'll be getting the good stuff tomorrow

Just cleaned the MAF. Damn, the rear screw was a pig. Had to hank another groove into the head to get it off with a big driver. Got a load of matching thread bolts so cut down to size and replaced those soft headed screws.

Off out to put her back together now.
