Yes I could do a guide if you can you point to a guide that is a good example and I will write one up.
The main things is to remove the lower starter motor bolt which bolts through into the sump
You will need to put it up on axle stands preferable over a pit.
You need to remove the front under shield just connected with plastic studs for better access.
You will need star ring spanners  as some bolts do not have enough access for 1/4 inch socket and ratchet.
These are around £20.00 from Halfords probable cheaper online
A set of surface sockets but preferably proper star sockets 1/4 inch drive and ratchet
You will also need a new exhaust clamp and bolt as the old will probably break when you take it off.
The exhaust needs to be split to get the sump off and at least the mid section of the exhaust detached from its hangers. to allow enough movement to get the sump off and the new sump on. This is quite tight but there is enough movement.
Remember Mercedes Benz only charge two hours to do this which even given their rates isn't too bad and the work is guaranteed.
However you need to get your car to them.
You will also need a thin blade to run round the sump being careful to ensure you run it between the old gasket and the old sump. Damage to the engine side we mean the sump will not seal properly. No gasket cement should be used just anew gasket.
Make sure when you take the old gasket you make a note of the blue cement that is on one part of the gasket and make sure the new gasket goes in the same way.
Before putting the new sump in  inspect the surface of the engine sump face and clean the surface of any dirt etc with clean lint free cloth.
