.....work has also started with a company who make roll cages to measure up the car for a roll cage
(just in case it's a bit wild once completed) will update later this week
TBH, the Tridion should be more than strong enough, though I would feel happier for you if there
were a couple of braces across the roof, in case the panoramic roof went. I could be wrong, but
I'll hazard a guess that the peops you've spoken to will not know or even allow for the underlying
strength of the Tridio and slap a 'butch' diameter cage in that will need chunks out of the dash etc.
We will all have to wait and see on that score though.
