Its a question of how you feel really. Is you car a utility or something to value?

I wash mine twice a month with Turtle Wax ICE wash and then give a thorough polish with Turtle Wax ICE once a month.

Personally I think washing in winter is more important, that salt can be very damaging!

It's having the time to wash the car thoroughly, I simply don't have the time. Plus far too cold too cold! lol This is the first winter I haven't had time to clean my car, the car doesn't get to rest. If I am not using her I am out in the other car normally.

Heres a recommendation instead of Ice Polish... try Aquawax, no drying just apply to a wet car for a fantastic finish - it does glass, black plastic too.

I used turtle wax ice wash and polish a few years ago - its very useful, especially in hot weather where ordinary polishes can't be used.

Most people do see are as utilities - which is why mine seems to get dinged or just plain driven into all the time when it's parked outside work.

I agree with Nomad, but also who has the time to wash their car more often? I know I don't and I certainly don't want to be outside in the freezing cold during limited daylight hours washing the car!
Which is why I suggested that you do only what is 'really' needed takes the shortest
time and just do the back of the car.....even a damp cloth over just the window and
lights and a quick buff after !

It's the window and lights that are important. The lights especially do with thick fog like that I drove through this morning (50 yard visibility) and the window soon gets opaque from the road dirt and salt!

Ferrina fitted a lotus style rear undertray and that helped but it won't work with the BRAB lower rear spoiler.

May be worth investigating though

Ferrina sold me his diffuser as he wanted to take it off and fit a towing hook.
It's been fitted to my car for quite a while now... I can tell you this -

1. It's a PITA to fit.
2. It doesn't noticeably reduce the amount of dirt on the back, it just redistributes it. The difference depends on your speed.
3. Nobody tailgates me on the motorway when it's raining :)
4. It tightens up the rear when cornering and I like that.
