The time is coming...
« on: March 23, 2017, 02:39:09 PM »

So, I've decided that in the next couple of weeks/months i'm going to be selling the forfour.
Not quite sure what sort of price to advertise for so thought I'd get the opinions of you guys and see if there is any interest on here before posting on eBay etc.

It's a 2005 (05 Reg) 1.3l Passion, Automatic with just over 98000 miles on the clock. MOT until end of July and just had the major service a few weeks back with both rear shocks changed too. Clean car with usual age related marks and a couple of little dings on the tridion. (images are probably on here somewhere). All of the electric windows and mirrors work fine, AC works well too.

It also has the twin face centre armrest, interior dash mats, Genuine Smart floor mats, parcel shelf, bonnet vents etc. with Black scratch style cloth interior. Front speakers have also been upgraded. Only real issue that i can think of is that it only has one key.

How much do you think i should be asking for?

Thanks in advance!  :)

My 1.3 AMT was sold to me for £1200 (with 75k mileage) but then again, the armrest and the parcel shelf will help with this which mine didn't come with out of the box. I think it will be a case of tidying up the interior as best you can, cleaning the exterior and making sure the documentation is in order.

There is a relatively similar mileage 454 for sale on eBay at the moment (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2005-SMART-FORFOUR-HATCHBACK-FORFOUR-PULSE-SEMI-AUTO-5-DOOR-HATCHBACK-/302260735152?hash=item466024ccb0:g:~McAAOSwPCVX6Qb8) which has relatively similar specification (though it is a Pulse) and they want £1795. I'd look at £1300-1500 for a quick sale if you wanted one.
