Servicing in West Sussex
« on: October 23, 2012, 06:39:59 PM »

Hi all - we live near Horsham, West Sussex and have always found it tricky to find an independent garage to service the Brab.  Last service we used Sussex Cars in East Preston, but, although they were great, it's a bit of a trek for us.

Anyway, today we've had the car at GCS Engineering, just outside Horsham.  They are a German car specialists and I've never really given them much thought as they always seemed to have Porches, nice Audis and various other top notch cars parked there.

Have to say thanks to Tim there.  Great service and the best price I could find for a 'B' Service and cambelt change.  Also, as an added bonus, they have a Star diagnostic kit!  If you're looking for somewhere in this area, don't hesitate to give them a try.

Obviously, I'm not sure about other prices around the country - this was just the cheapest locally.  All in was £521 inc VAT.  That's full B Service (Inc spark plugs, but not air filter as just got a Pipercross one), cambelt change, pre mot check of the car and investigation into front knocking, to which nothing was found

not a bad price at all there - good stuff :)

my knocking got investigated....again....found nothing.....again!!

i'm pretty sure its the anti roll bar. it seems to knock (on mine) when its just 2 wheel that had to move or if the speed bump is at an angle.

Very good price - my cambelt change and B service (with plugs) combined cost me £690!
