Title: Cigarette Burn Holes
Post by: PaulMarshall on June 08, 2014, 07:43:37 AM
Has anyone had any experience fixing cigarette burn holes either in carpet or car seats? Has anyone used burn hole repair kits?
I found this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_iDFFdjnIU and this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkKX30gQj6E and sure there are others. I have heard about trimming strands of carpet from a good hidden piece and gluing them in the burnt spot.
Any ideas welcome. :)

Assuming you have a few burn holes, I would suggest a car interior trimmer
repair it...or even replace the whole panel. If it the centre panel then why
not have all the centre panels retrimmed a different colour material to the
original...either a contrast of a clash.
Failing that, fit a set of Colt seats. £200-250 isnt a bad price for a set.
