Title: Bit of fun
Post by: jmariog on May 15, 2021, 11:47:51 PM
So retired ! , do I keep my 1.5 petrol AMT which I love , and that mostly is used around town with the odd blast ,2000 mile round trip to France. Or do I have some fun and get a Brabus ??,can't keep two cars ,but son in law would take the AMT.

I am retired and have a Brabus, but not used as a daily driver. Use a 1.3 AMT for local trips, and an Ioniq HEV for longer journeys. To be honest the Brabus is not what I'd call a brilliant drivers car, and you have your Alpine and Marcos for fun , and I have my old Porsche and my V8 kitcar for real fun on the twisties.

Other cars are from the passed ,the mini moke I miss  the most. So brabus may not be a fun daily driver.thanks food for thought

Been retired fa 5 years (if my memory isn't failing)...
So here's my pennies worth..
My daily fun drive...is my highly modified 451 turbo.....
Fa long runs I'll use my modified 454 CDi....
But like Coverman, I have to admit Brabus gets little if any use.
