Painting Engine Parts?
« on: June 29, 2013, 07:14:12 PM »

Im going to paint a few engine parts, engine cover and air box red to match the car.

Is there any special paint i need to use and will these parts need sanding or can i just give them a good clean to remove all the grease then paint?

You will need to key the surface, apply appropriate primer and then paint. Otherwise it will flake off very soon.
