Title: Is it a Brabus
Post by: jmariog on December 15, 2019, 10:26:56 PM
There is a smart car on A,trader down as a passion 1.5 Brabus, it's two tone Paint work.no spoiler that I can see could l be a S2  or what ever the uprated 1.5 was called. Or just a 1.5 with Brabus bits.?

SB2....whichis what mr.singh has....

Possibly, but as you rightly say,it's not a Brabus, and they haven't
included any engine bay shots which might possibly show an SB2 sticker
or whatever on the engine cover.
Anyway...out of 'courtesy'....nah make that contempt....I popped them
an email telling them its not a Brab and what it would have if it was,
and what it hasn't got.  Lucky the guy who sold it/traded it in as maybe
he might just have managed to 'have them over' with it and got a good
deal for his 'Brabus'.  :P

It would appear from looking at the advert again that they have
taken 'on-board' the issues/points I raised in an email to them,
and they have amended the 'initial' advert accordingly, however..
the Specification part still shows/gives the bhp and perfromance
figures for a Brabus...so it's still not right !

The price is way too much considering the year and mileage,
even with the few 'additional' bits that it has over a standard
model 1.5 Passion. £1600 or so perhaps ?

don't worry about it, someone will buy it and them hopefully kick up a fuss because they had been miss-sold a car.

I recall seeing a 1.1 for sale about 2 months back on ebay (private seller) and it stated in the description that it was a 'brabus edition', all it had was the cheese wheels and the oval gear knob. when I questioned the seller he said that it was all done at the factory, even though he was the 5th owner. when I sent him a picture of mine with the body kit and questioned why there was no body kit on his, he blagged it by saying he didn't know and stated that it was all done at the factory.

I worded my responses in a way that I knew someone who knew about the 454, and never made out that I owned one.
